If you thought we wouldn't include the place where the best-tasting ice cream in the country is created, you'd be crazy! Take a tour and grab yourself some scoops.

History Exploration

Take in some history at Washington on the Brazos, which is the historic site of the signing of Texas' Declaration of Independence. There's also the Texas Cotton Gin Museum in Burton and the Antique Rose Emporium down the road in Independence.

Farm Fun

While there are a few farms to visit in and around Brenham, one of our favs is Peeka Ranch – an alpaca farm in Burton, just 15 minutes from here. Give them a call to make sure they're ready to greet you!
